Introduction
Sree Narayana Guru College of Advances Studies, Alathur is a newly started self-financing college under the management of Sree Narayana Trusts, Kollam. It is affiliated to the University of Calicut and was approved by the Govt. of Kerala. Sree Narayana Trusts has been one of the highly esteemed agencies in Kerala having more than 50 Educational Institutions. Sree Narayana Trusts was founded by Sri. R.Shankar, former Chief Minister of Kerala on 1952. It follows the ideals of the great philosopher and social reformer, Sree Narayana Guru to imbibe strength through the organization and secure liberation through education. The objective of Sree Narayana Trusts is to establish and maintain Institution intended for the educational, cultural, economic, social, religious and advancement of welfare and physical well-being of the people. It is situated in the greenery campus of Erattakulam which is 1.5 Km away from the Trichur Palakkad National Highway. This college was established on 2013 a was functioning from 1/08/2013 onwards and offering the following courses B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Physics,B.Com with Computer Application , B.A English Language and Literature and B.Sc Psychology .
